LIDL Ireland is selling a major sleep game-changer for Irish heatwaves as night-time temperatures jump – and fans are rushing to tills to buy it.
The supermarket chain will have a double freeze mattress topper in stores right in time for summer.

The item is now on sale for €79.99 and measures 135 x 190cm.
Lidl bosses said the item comes with practical elasticated corners for attaching to the mattress, a reversible feature with one side in a cooling yarn for a cooling effect, and the other in soft and cosy microfibre.
And it also comes in a thickness of 5cm.
The budget supermarket has also announced some “Sleep Easy” items on sale that will be available in store from Wednesday, June 27.
It will be on sale until July 3.
Products include a Single Reversible Luxury Bed Linen with a thread count of 128 and zip fasting, making it quick and easy to change.
The bed linen is 100 percent cotton and has high moisture control.
It will be available in stores for €7.99.
The King Reversible Luxury Bed sheets are also available for just €12.49 and measure at 230 x 220 cm.
The bed linen items are available in white and blue and multiple colour stripes.
Another item on the bargain is the Anti-Allergy Pillow Protectors for just €4.99.
Lidl bosses said the anti-allergy pillow reduces dust mites and is machine washable.
A Single Freeze Reversible Duvet will also be available in stores from June 27 for €17.99, and the double version will also be on sale for €24.99.
There is a light blue side with a refreshing cooling effect and temperature regulation on warm summer nights.
Its filling is made from 100 per cent recycled material.
A double and king version of the Jersey Fitted Sheet is set to be on sale at the budget supermarket from only €4.99.
They have elasticated edges for a perfect fit and fit mattresses up to 20cm deep.
A 5m LED Light Strip is set to be in stores for just €7.99.
The item has 150 LEDs with coloured light, audio-controlled light effects from an integrated music sensor and a 1.5m power cable with a USB-A plug.
