‘Brilliant buy!’ Mums are going mad for Aldi’s 75p baby must-have that ‘makes life easier’

BABIES have developing sleep patterns that hugely vary – while one tot might nod off straight away, others can cry for hours before settling for the night.

Parents will try everything from lullabies, self-soothing, white noise and shhh’ing to help their little one nod off.

But it’s not always this simple.

Most babies take a while to establish a consistent circadian rhythm, making it harder for them to distinguish between day and night.

Luckily, mums think they’ve found the ultimate product for a night of interrupted sweet dreams.

The 75p must-have from Aldi even won a gold award at the 2024 Mother&Baby Awards.

It is the Mamia Bedtime Bath solution that is paediatrician approved and suitable for newborns.

The product is designed to be poured in the bath and emits soothing aromas that get babies ready for a full night’s kip.

“I like that it makes lots of bubbles and it has a really nice smell to it,” one mum praised.

“For me, it is a product that does the job and keeps the shopping bill down, which is great for me when budgeting for a family.”

“This product made life easier as a mum, as it’s a large bottle so will last long,” another added.

“It was a cheaper alternative to another leading brand and was available in my supermarket.

“It was friendly on my baby’s skin and smelt great too, making this product overall great value for money and an alternative to competitors.”

A third mum said she’d recommend the product “for its quality and value for money”.

“It is cheap enough and does a great job of being bath soap that you put in the bath,” she said.

“It seems good for our little boy’s slightly sensitive skin!

“The bottle is large enough and you do not need loads so it lasts a while which is ideal.

“I like that it has a slight purple tinge to it so you can see it in the water and know where to mix it up.”

Babies may go through periods of sleep regression due to developmental milestones, illness or changes in their environment.

These regressions can disrupt their sleep patterns and make it harder for them to settle down at bedtime.

Therefore, having trusty products in your arsenal could be helpful even after you think you’ve nailed down a sleep routine.
