A BEAUTY expert has revealed the completely free hack that has made people think she’s had surgery on her eye wrinkles.
Angie, 57, explained that sleep is “one of my most successful yet least expensive anti-ageing strategies”.


However, it’s not just about how much sleep she gets – but also the position she dozes off in.
In fact, it was a trip to the dermatologist a few years ago that prompted her to switch up her sleeping position.
“I started sleeping on my back a few years ago when I went to my dermatologist and she mentioned that she could tell which side of my face I slept on at night, based on how deep my nasolabial folds were,” Angie, founder of the Hot and Flashy blog, said in a video on her YouTube page.
“Apparently one was deeper than the other and that was how she could tell.”
She said that chest wrinkles are another side effect from sleeping on your side.
But apparently moving onto her back has worked wonders for her anti-ageing approach.
“Since I switched to fully sleeping on my bad I’ve noticed so many other advantages to doing it that are also anti-ageing,” she continued.
“I noticed that my hooded eyes became less hooded and I also noticed that I had less puffiness, less dark circles and smaller eye bags.”
She also noticed a major reduction in her back and shoulder pain.
But it wasn’t easy to get used to sleeping on her back – after years of sleeping on her side.
It actually took her three months to get completely comfortable.
However, she used tools such as a sleeping wedge to make the process easier by propping up her back.
She also found it helpful sleeping in a figure of four position – with one leg bent with the foot resting on the other calf.
And other people also revealed the benefits they’ve also discovered from changing to back sleeping.
In the comments section of the YouTube video, one 72-year-old woman wrote: “The difference is astounding! I look like I had eye surgery.
“My hooded eyes were greatly diminished and my eye bags are mostly gone, and they were huge before.
“I also notice that I breathe so much better, because my sinuses stay clearer.
