AN age-defying woman has revealed how she reduces the appearance of smile lines without spending on wrinkle creams.

She shared three skincare tips that she swears by for slowing the signs of aging around the mouth.

Isabelle (@isabelle.lux) boasts over 565,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares anti-aging tips for women in their 30s.

The beauty guru looked in good spirits as she shared “easy” things to do daily to get rid of smile lines at home.

“Today I’m going to tell you how I eliminate the smile lines around my mouth,” she said.

“You can see that I still have them a little bit but I have found three things that I do every single day that help them go away so much.

“The first thing is whenever I feel like my skin is settling down and I’m getting these little fine lines, I actually puff out my cheeks.

“I know this looks funny but trust me,” she said demonstrating the hack.

“I do this a few times a day and I feel like that really helps the fine lines from not settling in.

“The second thing is I stretch out this muscle here.”

Isabelle used her fingers to point at the area from the bottom of her nose to her bottom lip.

She said smile lines appear when the cheek muscle, under the eyes is overworked.

“We want to stretch them out and the way to do that is to make an O with your mouth,” she said demonstrating.

“I know that looks funny but if you do it a few times a day you’re really going to stress out that muscle and prevent those lines from forming.

“And last but not least, I always sleep on my back.

“When you sleep on your side you create that line all night long and that’s not what you want.

“When you sleep on your back your face is lifted and it’s very anti-aging.”

Over 22,000 viewers liked the video and hundreds of people took to the comment section thanking Isballe for sharing the advice.

Many told her that she looked up to a decade younger than her age of 32.

“It’s so hard falling asleep on your back,” another commented.

According to MedicalNewsToday, wrinkles around the mouth may develop due to a repetition of facial movements such as frowning or laughing, genetics, smoking as well as sun damage.

Exercise can be used to target muscles that may help to tighten the skin on the face. 

Meanwhile, there are also a variety of injectable treatments a dermatologist may recommend in addition to over-the-counter creams.
