I change my sheets DAILY – people call it ‘so sad’ but I’ll always make time for my priorities

A CLEANING fan has revealed that changing her bedsheets daily is her top priority – no matter what.

Daf, known as ‘cleanwithdaf’ on TikTok, has gone viral after sharing that she always makes time without any doubt.

Daf has revealed her intense cleaning routine that people think is ‘exhausting’

Many people struggle to believe how she manages this while working full-time, so in a video showing herself changing the sheets, she explained that she was working the evening shift.

She takes her break between 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm – and that’s when she makes sure to get it done.

Daf continues: “Now if I don’t get the opportunity to do this when I’m working from home during my corporate job then of course I’ll do this as soon as I come back, but as soon as I got indoors I had to log off my evening shift.

“So as soon as I got my lunch, I was like, do you know what? I’m taking it as an opportunity to do this.

“Now this time it seems really overwhelming to do this.

“At the end of the day, we all have different priorities. This is one of mine, and it’s one of those things that I would always do.”

Although Daf admits she feels tired after rushing around during her break, she says it’s worth it because she loves getting into bed feeling “so nice and fresh.”

She adds: “And just to echo, don’t forget we all have different priorities.

“I set myself a one-hour timer and believe it or not, I literally got it done within 55 minutes.

“I mean, I still have five minutes to spare, so I went downstairs to get a drink. Also, I clean my bedroom every single day.

“So, when I do a deep clean, it doesn’t take any longer than you’d probably think, because I maintain my place so well.

“You’ll never catch me leaving clothes lying around for days. I could never do that. My washing machine is always on.

“It’s just the way it is in my household. Another thing that you’ll find so crazy is the fact that I literally clear my wardrobe and wash everything in there, take it to the dry cleaners if need be.

“But it helps me maintain my space better, and it makes me happy.

“People say they don’t have time, but that’s fine because we’re all different.”

Daf also shares her secret to staying on top of everything: “I work in sections, which is more time-efficient.”

Her video has gained over 2.4 million views with over 2,300 people rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts – and she experienced trolling too.

One said: “This is so sad.”

A second added: “You really need to start living your life and stop all this cleaning. Not good for you.”

But someone else praised her and said: “At first I judged. Then I realised its actually none of my business and I really admire your commitment to your comfort.”

Whilst another commented: “I don’t think you’re making time for it, I think you don’t do other things.”

The NHS advises contacting your local council or a pest control firm that’s a member of the British Pest Control Association or National Pest Technicians Association to deal with an infestation.

But if you suspect you’ve been infected, the first thing you need to do is strip your bed and wash the sheets and blankets in 60C water, before tumble-drying for at least 30 minutes – or bin them all together.

You can also try a steamer on mattresses, couches, and other places where bedbugs hide.
